Was not able to get over to the Salt this weekend so I snuck over to a local lake. Caught a bunch of 1-2 lb LMB around the banks (soft baits) and decided to try a different approach. Used the depthfinder to find a drop off. (very weedy lake) Found an area that dropped off to 9ft, with some vegitation on top. Tossed a buzzbait. First cast, explosion.

Thought I had a 2-3 lb LMB wrapped in weeds. When the fish surfaced I was happy. 6.5lb on the boga grip. Makes for a good day!

Good going, great fish, and nice looking water to have a play in aswell. Ant photo's of the buzz bait? Kept for the table?

Hope this luck continues. Out last evening throwing a buzzbait. Caught a handful, plus another beauty! Didnt have a scale this time. Possibly bigger!? (All released to be caught again). This pond/lake is only 5 minutes from my house.

Next question - - How do you take those pictures of yourself and the fish . . camera on a Ram Mount? I have enought trouble just getting the thing to hold still enough to find the fish in the viewfinder.

Another good one....4 more days???

Luckly...I have had someone in my other kayak both times. I try an invite different people, let them enjoy kayakfishing. Most get hooked. I happened to have a sponsered tournament guy out with me last night...he about died. Definaltly caught his attention.

Nice Fish Kris....I haven't been as lucky in MA but have hooked up with some nice ones in NH....If you don't mind my asking where do you do your fishing....I am in Marlborough
