Fishing sat. 17

Started at Deal in the dark . Not only had the jetty to myself but after cruising around , I founds that I had all of Deal to myself . Headed to the hook and saw very few fishermen out . I was only one of five at the rip and nothing was going on . Checked out spermacetti and plum but saw nothing . I did see a red Tarpon ? going out of the windsurfer beach and beeped ( anyone here ) and I saw him later at Skelaton Hill Isl. but the wind was picking up. I did get a message from Jack that it was dead all over . No figuring it out . The water was warm , even on the ocean side and it was clear. At plum the water was like chocolate early but when I was leaving it seemed clear even though it was outgoing . Oh well

Now you didn't paddle that entire distance did you? No fish? Any bites?

No , I didn't even take the yak off. I not only didn't get a hit . didn't see anybody with a fish but I got calls to teel me that everywhere was dead. It was slow and it will take a few tides to clear it up .
