Jay C. here. Planning a completely new fishing adventure. James River Flatheads (10-35 pounds, state record is 66 lbs) from my kayak. I am following an article in July's VA Game and Fish. Just about got all the kit together. Penn 6'6" med/hvy boat rod, Daiwa Firewolf 27H baitcaster w/ 20lb test etc. Anyone gone after big cats from your kayak?
