yep. The v shaped sails are flexible enough that they bend and dump wind before they tip you over.

I use a Pacific action sail on my Tarpon 120 and enjoy it a lot but not when I fish, to much stuff top side. But as for a Dagger board -keel
I will make one for next summer. It will do wonders. In a steady say 8MPH you can do with out. But if the wind is gusting to 8mp of better you can get caught off guard and be dumped, Belive me more then once I went in, also a rudder is a MUST. There are many Kayak sailing sites that have tips a video of how to sail a Yak. I am still learning
