I have been looking at the best way to secure (non permanent) my crate to my outback and would appreciate any suggestions and picks from others as this forum as been a real wealth of info I was hoping for a bit of additional insight and considerations.
Thanks in advance!

A couple of stout bungees attached to the stock Hobie eyestraps works for me. I also put a board that is cut to fit the rear of my tankwell to place beneath the crate so that it rides flat.

Apalach,
Nice job, Thanks for the pic. Maybe you can help me with another concern I was just getting ready to mount my FF transducer in the Hull and had a last minute concern about the flippers interfering with the read ????? Do you or any other posters have a thought on this.

Now, that's an interesting point, and the first time anyone has posed it to my knowledge. I'm still working on the FF so I can't give you any help there. However, you might want to check out familyman, or FisherTim or a few others for info on the FF. Just plug "fishfinder" or "transducer" into the "Find" menu option and you will be rewarded with an abundance of info.
