Just curious, where do you guys position the drip rings on your paddles? I tend to keep them near the blade and a friend of mine keeps them right by his hands. Is there a right way or is it just preference? I find that when I move them up too far, the drip goes straight onto my hands and into the yak (i use a sik). Any thoughts on this?

You want to have them just outside of the Gunnel [cockpit]so any water stays outside, And do not dip your paddle to deep just 3/4 will do fine, BillW
