Hello to all and thanks for the wealth of information that is pouring in about the kayaks. Being a new person to this field makes it easier to start to weed out some of the kayaks in favor of other ones. I now plan to try out on the water the following three kayaks. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the new Emotion Fisherman. Besides the Fisherman, I am going to try out the Prowler and the FnD. It looks like the Emotion Fisherman took a page out of the FnD and added a little better length for more speed. It seems to have plenty of room, has had good reviews and is designed by a kayaker for fishing.
Does anyone have any experience with this kayak. I am 6 foot 3 inches, 240 lbs, and have a 34 inseam. I am located on the east coast in North Carolina.
Thanks
Jim

Yellowww,
I bought a Fisherman from Jon back in October. Have only been out in it 4 times due to some remodeling of my house that is devouring the majority of my free time. I am extremely pleased with the craft. The yak is easy to paddle and much faster than I first thought it would be. My first trip was on the lake by my house. Paddle was easy and I was very pleased with stability. Quite a few power boats on the lake and I took wakes at 45's, head on, and broadside with no problems. Remaining trips have been to the bays and flats of south Texas. Again fast, stable, and very fishable. Great storage, stable, and made for customizing. Plan to try in the Gulf this summer. If I had it to over again, I would get the same boat but, would add the rudder this time. By the way, I'm 6 foot, 200lbs, and had plenty of room to spare. Great yak for a big person.
Chris has a 35 plus inch inseam and the yak fits him fine. I simply extended the rudder cables for him.
There aren't many Fisherman's out there for testing. Most are either here in the NE or in Florida. I wasn't available until late in the season.

yellow, the Fisherman will be long enough for you, but the end of the cables will have to be extened. Probably easily done with a heavy duty swivels for the extra few inches. I'm dying to get into mine. Come on warm weather. S
Yak, Yak, Yak...is that all I do?
Changed for the betterment of the board!!!!!
