Yesterday a pretty strong sea breeze developed in the afternoon with the high temps. The weekened temps are supposed to be lower, but you can't rule it out.
It was blowing a good 15 maybe 20 from the s/sw.
So if you're north of the launch site and feel that breeze turnaround, you might just want to leave yourself a little extra time to get back.
The past two years, it's taken me twice as long as expected... being exhausted after getting up early and fishing all day against an SW wind, I covered the 2 miles in about an hour.
