Brief fishing report:
Sue Sea and I have been down to Largo and Rattlesnake Key several times in the last week. Overall, it's been great each time. Two 3 ft. cuda, and one closer to 4. Dragged me around for 15-20 min. What a trip.
Have seen some large tarpon in the area, and had some nice chances to cast to them. I usually go with two rods rigged. One for Tarpon and large cuda (80lb leader), and one light with a flats jig for bonefish.
I rig a nice topwater on the stout rod. There are times I wish I had a third rod with say a shallow running swimming plug.
Lots of great flats here, plus some interesting channels that cut through the key. The wildlife here is phenomenal.
May try Largo Sound next time...until then...
Best,
Soc

"Honest, it was this big!"
<center>Asked by a cute waitress: "What's that big yellow thing on top of your car?"
Me:"Compensation!"
