like new! This kayak is great. But is time for me to move on to something smaller. I am an apartment dueler and, although i have kept this kayak in storage for a year I can no longer aford the comings and goings that it implies. My kayak has the following features:

two flush mount rod holders
One scotty rod holder
two rectangular hatches
rudder (always a must for me)
seat
paddle
the color is sand

It retails for about $1,100. At this point I am considering best offer http://kfs.infopop.cc/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Guys:

Although I am very appreciative of your offers, I am looking for something a little higher. My kayak is in excellent conditions. I believe whomever purchase this kayak will take home a jewel.

bluefish, I sympathize with you, I have the exact same yak and had the same problem as you about a year ago. Here are a few thoughts...

If your going to move to a smaller yak, I'd think 12ft would be the minimum for the bay, you might get away with a 10ft but you may have to pick your days pretty carefully...

That being said, a 12ft isn't going to make too much of a difference for storage and IF the issue is storage, have you considered Sebago Canoe and Kayak club? Based in Canarsie, you paddle out of Pardegaat Basin...

Membership and storage will run you around $300 for the first year, cheaper thereafter I think...

Lots of other bene's to being part of Sebago, too.

Its a good thing.

Open house is June 11 this year, but you can head there any weekend during the day and usually find someone around. Ask for the Officer of the Day and they will give you the info on the club.

I believe its being used as a launch point/camp area for the fishing tournament coming up, too.

Sebago is a great place to keep a yak. We've reccomended them to several folks who are now members.
