Chest high or high waist for SOT fishing?

I am shopping for breathable waders, but could use some feedback and advice on the style.(chest hoiigh or high waist?) I'm getting a drytop to make up a system. If I get chest highs, do I use the straps when on the yak.

Waist high waders and a dry top is certainly more comfortable. I used the set up my first year. I do recommend a dry suit as the best option if you have not already considered.
