This site is terrific, thankyou. I'm a long time canoer/fisher, tried white water kayaking, but never kayak/fishing. I've realized a SIK would be a mistake. I saw a site selling Mainstream Impression Kayaks for $349 and it seemed to be a pretty good looking yak. I have read the umpteen million good reviews of the Prowler 13 and was thinking about it.. But at $800 plus toys it's a lot. I can afford it, and worse yet I'm usually not happy without the best.. but the wife factor is ever present. Incidentally, I'm 32, 5'9", 200lb and I will mostly be spincasting smaller streams and lakes and I have a Ford Explorer.

Erik http://www.candlepowerforums.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink2.gif I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. http://kfs.infopop.cc/eve/forums?s=418607442&a=ga&ul=633102653 If you want a kayak for small rivers, streams and ponds then get something like a Tarpon 100.
