I just got my lime green trident 11 ok kayak, and I have noticed that they do not have the built in rod holders right behind the seat. I looked on the ok website, and they said that one of the features is the 2 rod holders. What should I do about my kayak? Is mine supposed to be like this? What could I use to make flush rod holders?

Your kayak is only supposed to have these IF your kayak was supposed to be an Angler Edition. You'd have to talk to your retailer about that one.
I'd say most people here would say you don't want them anyways. Go with something else!

Does it have a rodpod hatch between your legs? If not, you have the regular Trident 11 and not the angler version. Flushmount rod holders are cheap and any dealer can install them for you. As the previous commented stated... you might not want them anyway. Check out the Ram Tube or Scotty Mount products. This way you can keep your nice reels out of the salt as well as have some more versatility compared to the fixed flushmounts.
Also, you might look into adding the rod pod yourself. It is a very useful feature and I personally love having the space. It's very easy to cut out and install yourself as well.

I'd be checking your purchase agreement/receipt if I were you and ensuring you haven't paid for the angler version and not gotten it.
As far as the rear flush mounts I use mine all the time but I don't have salt to worry about

On the Ocean kayak site they list the Trident 11 angler as only available in yellow and tan.

ok,I e-mailed the guy, and he said that I paid for the regular trident 11. I will proboly add the rod pod later on. I will check out the scotty mounts and I might add them. Would west coast marine be able to install them? Could I just install them my self?

IMO you'll need to cut the hatch for the rodpod to properly (ie: stainless nut and bolt + backing) install rod holders.
Once that's done so you can reach where your installing the gear, its easy to do on your own

You don't need the RodPod to install Scotty's or Ram mounts behind your cockpit, just a little imagination. :D
I have Scotty's on my Prowler 13 and I had no access to the interior hull (in that area).
Here's a couple link that will help with the install-

You are better off installing your own. If you install your own you can controll the angle of the rods etc. Here is a video done specifically for kayak fishing installing a flush mount rod holder (http://www.yakangler.com/articles/how-to/kayak-rigging/item/1431-ep-02-flush-mount-rod-holders) that should help you. ;)
