just wondering how many of you guys have read the book"bayou farewell" I think thats the name. Its a book about the loss of land we are experiencing. Its a good read if you are interested in that sort of thing. A couple of weeks ago out of leeville. We were in the boat which is a deep vee. So we have to stay in about 1.5 feet to drift. well the depthfinder said 3 feet, but the gps said we were in the middle of an island. Needless to say we got stuck. It is amazing how much land dissapears down there. The GPS software is fairly recent, so there are complete islands all over the gps that are simply not there anymore.
