Thumbs up

I figured so. The wader dry top combo I dont really like. The waders leak a bit and the thought of an immersion with that set up scares me a bit and has kept me out of the water in the spring.
Although its been a bay thing so far and the bay I am verry comfortable in there is always that chance.
Seeing whats been going on this year it will be a good investment.
I did find a new older model without the relief zipper on craigslist a few months ago for 300 but no one ever responded to me.
Thanks.

for any owners of this particular suit... have you had any problems with it or see any potential problems that would keep anyone from getting a few good years out of it?

I have that suit and it has been great. the pee zipper is especially nice to have. The key to longevity with these suits is (beyond taking care of them) how well the company supports it. When fishing you constantly get hooks and fins stuck in them, etc. Plus the gaskets could tear at the seams from tugging on them. I had all sorts of issues like this after one season. Called kokatat and a really great rep took amazing care of me. Sent them my suit and they replaced the gasket, pressure tested it, patched what seemed like 10 holes and sent it back to me for a total of about $30 w shipping. The suit is like new again. That is worth a lot. Otherwise, the suit wont' last long or you're going to pay a ton to keep getting it fixed.
