I was just wondering if anyone from this site will be making either of the kayak tournaments? I was planning on going to the Block Island trip but I just read another post about a tournament that will be in Montauk the same days. The one in Montauk is with ECKF and the other one is for a different charity. Both trips are Sept. 7-8-9. which is the weekend after Labor Day. I would think that the hotels will be pretty full around that time, so I would like to book a room as soon as possible. I have never been to Block Island and always wanted to make a kayak trip there so that may be the deciding factor.
Anyone else making any plans to attend either one?
