Lord willing, I'll be in Marathon next Saturday for 2 weeks.
Any tips on fishing the middle and lower Keys from a kayak? I'd like to try to catch something on a fly rod, ANYTHING that will hit a fly. Will anyone be in the area? Love to have company. Thanks, Phil

I don't fish normally fish that area, either Islamorada area (Channel 2, launching from Anne's Beach and fishing the bridges for tarpon and snook or Boca Cheeca bridge almost in Key West.

Would'nt use less than 20 lb test on med power rod. If you go to Boca Cheeca Bridge at night, I'd guarantee you would hook up with tarpon at night. Lots of big mangrove snapper there as well. Fishing during the day here would be a waste of time. http://www.kayakfishingstuff.com/com...nes+beach+keys
