Call for Tennesee Kayak Fishermen

Hey are any of you guys fishing the Heroes on the water event next weekend?

My wife and I are fishing in it, we will be camping from Thursday until Sunday.

Here is the info.

The first Annual SoHo River Raid has been rescheduled and is now 10x times better than before!!!

When: August 6th, 7th, and 8th
Where: Bristol, TN
How much: $100 (covers tournament entry, tshirt, camping for 3 nigths)
Again the goal of the weekend will be to have a great time with fellow fisherman and to help support Heros On The Water. All proceeds (100% of your fees!!!) from the event will be donated to HOW!

Friday Manditory Meeting 6:00p est
Fish from 6:30am est Saturday
This will be a catch photo and release tournament (CPR)
You can fish any waters you want.

Saturday will be an all day tournament.

RULES CHANGE!!!!!!
Anglers can weigh in a 3 fish limit with any combination of Black Bass, Striped Bass, and Trout (Black Bass will score 1pt per inch, Striped Bass will score .6 points, and Trout .9 points)

1 place - 2010 Camo Ride 135!!!
2-5th place - prizes provided by KBF (rods, paddles, etc).

Friday and Sunday will just be a casual fishing day. Where you can form groups and take on whatever body of water you wish.

Tournament Entry will including camping for three days, a T-Shirt, and dinner on Saturday.

I am moving to Spring City in March, We winter in Rockport Texas and I am interested in hooking up with some other yakers. I am originally from Harrison, Tn outside of Chattanooga, We are new to kayaking but not to fishing. Just purchased a OK Trident 13 angler and finally got it outfitted. Let me know if anyone interested in fishing or forming a group.
