Default I moved to pa!

PA... I love you... My god this state is so damn much better than NJ.

I'm sure I'll still fish my old spots in NJ (I still own both houses) but its like moving to another country. I don't even think I'll miss hitting the bay/ocean as often as I use to. Friday I get my new license and I can basically piss on my FID card since guns aren't the devil in PA. I've got miles of hunting land and don't need to use black powder or a shot gun... Yea I can actually fire a legitimate rifle in this state! weeeee!

I can also poke a rattlsnake with a stick... why you ask? cause its legal...

I bought a huge box of fireworks yesterday... and then I had a 1.99 bacon omelet special at a place called flappies... and I got a bud lite with that at 10am and no one said a word.

I feel like I just got out of prison...

I have the same question actually. You can drink expensive beers here too (if you want to). They cost the same as a NJ bud

Congrats! I pass thru there when dropping my son off at Gettysburg. I wondered what life would be like there. NJ is starting to grate on me too. PA is one place that has my eye.

Welcome to PA Dirtman. I get to the Dillsburg area once in a while myself. My sister and her family live in that area. If you haven't already found these, you may find these websites useful.

Default Just North of You

Hey Dirtman,
I am just north of you in Carlisle. I noticed you tried floating the Yellow Breeches. You have two good small mouth creeks just north of you. Shermans Creek in Perry county and the Conoguenit thru Carlisle and Mechanicsburg. The Susquehanna and the Juniata both offer good fishing too. The Duncannon to Marysville trip is a good day.
Welcome to PA you will find lots of fishing opportunities. If you like flat water you are not far from Pine Grove state park. There is also Long Pine reservoir.
