Default Port Monmouth yesterday

600 mph winds, white caps, algae bloom all over. Not one boat in sight. Gave it 3 hrs and packed it. Spearing is heavy in the back big time.

You should have stuck it out. Winds calmed down to where I had to peddle due to the lack of a drift.

I kept 3 all about 19", threw back a couple that were just legal (I only eat them fresh & even three were too many for me & the wife so I'll only keep two from now on), and a lot of shorts including many that were 16 -17".

Here's the 3 I kept.

I took the skunk for the first time in a long time in the west end of rb. Wind wasn't that bad, but the drift was very fast with The se and incoming combining. Was barely holding bottom with a 3 oz bucktail in the channels...
