Hooray for Dogdad.
I launched at Lake Rd at 0:too friggin early and off I went, chasing bait. When I beached for a pit stop and a phone call I was sans phone. Meantime, Dogdad launches same spot. Sees dry bag and looks inside.Hmmm, the name on the license is familiar...SAILORGIRL! After discovering phone loss I paddle back to launch (okay, I fished my way back to the launch) and saw the card on the windshield. My turn...hmmm...name is familiar, but I wasn't sure. A phone call later (and there are NO working payphones in existence anywhere anymore) from my brother's house and I was on the way to get my phone. Needless to say I was relieved and happy that Dogdad had it. I was going to offer him my 3 trout as a reward. Instead I went home with his 18" trout. (For the record, I saw him measure it and it was 18" and fat). Made my 16" trout look wimpy. Anyway, here's to honest people like Dogdad. ![]() Sincerely, Sailorgirl |

I expect things like that from our lil community but it's always great to hear confirmation.
