has anybody fished off card sound rd. by the bridges looks like you could launch and fish the area any tips would be helpful thanks..

You will get run over by a jet ski in the creeks.
Fish the mangroves west of the south end of the bridge. I've seen a lot of activity there on occasion.
I've also caught a lot of small snook in the creeks. I'm sure there are big ones too but I never caught one.

Yep, I fished there in the early 1970's, and just after they made the bridge. Caught some massive Speckled Trout! Been quite awhile though!

The last time I launched there I went north to Card Point and had to dial 911 to report 16 illegal Cuban immigrants who'd been dropped off by a go-fast boat. They were yelling something at me in Spanish!

Anyway, I'm willing to reveal my sure fire grouper hole. When you launch at the bridge, go to the south side of it and then paddle west in the canal that borders the road. When you hear music, pull over, get out, find a table, and order the grouper sandwich with fries and a cold Kalik beer at Alabama Jack's!
