9/21 port monmouth

Were was everyone? The weather looked like today was the only duable day all week (hope I'm wrong) I launched at 6:30 and by 7 I already landed 3. there were birds in little groups all over. after sun up the bird action died off then it was blind trolling, but still good fishing, the blues fought great and were nice size but they all were on the skinny side. I started with a rattle trap and ended with a rattle trap.

As always nice catching and report Paul! Rattle traps are a great fall bait.

Great post and nice pics. Do you have a hard time getting that rattle trap out of their mouth, it seems like they would swallow it.

I wish I could have been there. My daughter is making her college visits and the next 4 weekends are booked. I should be ready by the time the big stipers are also ready!
