Welcome Drew! Good move on getting the yak!

Just keep an eye on the board to jump in on outings and don't hesitate to post when you want to get out so people can line up with you.

Enjoy the yak!

Dave

Welcome Drew. I'm in north brunswick also. I do a lot of fluking in raritan bay and a little out front. I also go to farrington lake often since its so close to home. Sunday is up in the for me right now, depending on the weather. Tomorrow I will probably be going out of Port Monmouth after work. 4 430 til dark. You're welcome to join if you'd like.

nice boats but they are huge. did you try paddling anything else? I would maybe consider something smaller, like 11-12 ft which would be plenty big and a lot more manageable on a lake like farrington. 86(listed) pounds is a hefty load to carry around without really needing the heft
