Picked up the new KFS Ultimate Cart V2 for a friend, but after playing with it think I will be keeping it and giving him another (he really won’t use it much anyway, besides he’s in the dark ages and doesn’t have a computer). I’ve had a few carts and currently have 3, since he lives 4 hours from the coast I will be giving him a “H” style scupper cart with 10” tires.
You can get it from KFS with no wheels and use your own, 12X7 beach wheels for the sand or 10X3 pneumatic tires that I will use everywhere else.
I used the Wheeleez Kayak Cart in these pics for comparison & an idea of size.

Problems I have always had with other carts without a kickstand is their a real PITA to use when loading up, the ones I have had after a day on the water you need to unload the kayak turn it on its side and attach the cart that way, kick stand makes it so much easier, lift yak from stern and place on.

Not much of a stump but in the past I have dumped on smaller

Just be sure to put the kickstand up after placing the kayak on it especially if you are going over uneven ground which can bring you to a quick jarring stop.
With other carts I have had that are too narrow and unstable over uneven or bouncy paths I have spilled many a times. With this cart I was looking for stuff to bounce over and uneven grades and it performed great.
With the wheels having a wide stance the wheels wider than the kayak in this case making it really stable

One of the trade offs with the nice wide stance is it is wider and may not squeeze thru some narrow spots and since the axles are longer for the beach wheels too much of a side angle may have them running into the ground.
The place I went to I really didn’t need the cart only about 100’ from the waters edge (When loading up at home I need to carry it over my head at least 100+ feet sometimes 200’) but it made for a good test area. The place I had in mind is about 300’ down a trail from the parking lot, with a few good bumps never a problem going down but going back up I’ve had more problems with carts that its just easier to drag it up the trail. It was really crowded today but will go back and have no worries that the KFS cart will perform great here and I will report back.
The cart does break down nice and small

Small 10” not good for much front hatch, wheels don’t fit

but the cart frame went in no problem.

The scupper post are removable and saddles/cradles (I used Thule Top Decks) can be added to transport kayaks without scuppers or anything else you may need a hand in moving.

If you strap it just right you should be able to catch the kickstand to lift it out of the way (I didn’t)

This cart had an adjustable range of between the scupper holes of 9 1/2" center to center to 13 3/8" center to center.

Also notice in the above pic the pins hanging for the width adjustment and post are attached to the cart making it harder to lose them
Widest

When using on more bumpy trails or portages that require lifting over a downed tree or other obstacle good idea to strap the kayak to the cart it doesn't just slide out of the scuppers.
I really liked this cart very well thought out, and will get used a lot by me.
It doesn't fit all kayaks (Tarpons are one but told its being worked on for the next version) be sure to measure and read the description on the product page.
Just some more pics to show the underside close-up and on 2 different kayaks
