Quick & Easy Setup

I'm not the most handy person on my block, so one of the things I most liked about the Sportz SUV Tent: 81000 is that it takes under 10 minutes to set

up each time I use it. The setup components for the 81000 consist of 4 collapsing tent poles and a patented sleeve for attaching the entire unit to an SUV.

Once you insert the poles through the proper sleeves the 81000 is up in 3 minutes, most of the assembly time is spent unpacking and finding a flat

section of ground. After the tent is up the only thing left to do is anchor it down, swing the awning over the top of the tent, and

secure the awning by connecting the poles and anchoring them to the ground.  (If you are attaching the 81000 to your SUV there is a patented sleeve

supplied which easily attaches to the rear of your vehicle) Also, the 81000 packs up small,  so it  can definitely be secured inside or

onto your kayak for camping trips where a stand alone tent is required.

Interior

I am impressed by both the quality and function of the 81000. Being 10 ft X 10 ft with a ceiling of over

7 feet, I can easily move around the inside. I also notice that when the window flaps are closed there are no cold drafts coming from anywhere,

even in a stiff breeze. For the calmer days and warmer weather, each side of the tent has its own zippered window that can be

opened and tied up out of the way providing nice views and smooth airflow throughout the tent.

Other Aspects

The best part about the 81000 is that it can be used as a stand alone tent or it can be attached directly to the rear of an SUV, which greatly increases

the amount of sleeping space and storage capacity. I've used the tent so far once with my Chevy Trailblazer and three times as a stand alone tent.

Other features that add to the overall value and functionality of the 81000 include fully taped seams, no-see-um mesh windows, 2 interior storage

pockets, a lantern holder and a gear loft for storing gear off the ground.

If you like to go camping, with or without your SUV/Truck I would recommend this product . I am really looking forward to taking

this tent out on a multi-day kayaking adventure once the weather gets warmer and will absolutely post up the story after!
