Q: How do I join the forums so I can post to the community.
A: You have to Register before you post on the forums, it only takes a few minutes after you choose a username and password, you will then receive a verification email. Only by joining can you access all the forums.

Q: How do I search the forums to look for answer before I post a question that has been answered before
A: The Forum Search Tool is very good way to find previous posts that might be helpful. You will have enter the Keyword(s) you are trying to search e.g." installing a rod holder" and choose whether to search an indiviidual forum or all forums.

Q: How can I place an avatar next to my posts like other have?
A: Its easy, this can be accessed in your Profile by clicking on GO in the tool bar then MY SPACE - PROFILE - VIEW COMPLETE PROFILE. You can choose one of the basic avatars or upload you own.

Q: How can place a link in my Signature.
A: In your profile you can access an area to enter a link but please keep in mind that commercial links are not allowed unless you request permission from KFS .

Q: How do I place images in a post?
A: There are 2 ways to get an image to appear in a post, the first one is link to the image that is hosted on another site or a a site like http://www.photobucket.com/ can park your image for linking.

1. First, place [img] to start things off.
2. The web address of your pic: http://www.whateversite.com.
3. End it by placing [/img] right after the web address - there should be no spaces in the string. It should look like [img]http://www.whateversite.com/yourimage.jpg[/img]

Or you can use the Add an Attachment button on your page when you are posting a topic. There is a size limit of 100MB so you might have to resize your image. If you dont have the software to reisze you can do it online at http://www.picresize.com/

Q: How do I post a Photo Album.
A: To post a photo album, click the "New" tab and then the "Photo Album" link. Remember all images must beunder 100MB. A photo album wizard will take you through the following steps:
1. "Basics" is to provide basic information about the album, choose whether to allow comments and select your notification options.
2. "Upload" is to upload files from your own computer. Note: there may be size and number limits set by the administrator.
3. "Organize" is to add titles and captions to each uploaded photo. You may also add new photos, delete photos or re-order photos in this step.
4. "Preview" is to confirm what the final album looks like before you approve it for viewing by other members. If you are the owner of the album, you may edit the album after it has gone live by using the "edit" icon in the bottom right corner of the gallery view.

Q: What do the little houses next to the individual forums mean
A: These icons let a member know that there has been new activity in a forum since their last visit.

Q: I am new to kayak fishing, what would be the best way to get the information I may need on the forums?
A: The Newbie Forum is the best place to ask questions and get answers about starting out in the sport of kayak fishing.

Q: How do I send a Private Message to a Member?
A: There are two ways to send Private Messages, in the ToolBar Click GO - MYSPACE - PRIVATE MESSAGING and this will bring you to page that you can send a prive message. The other way is to just click on the Members name and this will take you to the member's profile and then you will have the option to "Send a Privite Message".
